چکیده
Abstract Methyl ester biodiesel was produced from Moringa Oleifera oil and Jatropha Curcas with the sole aim of assessing feasibility feedstocks as viable sources in Botswana. Oil extraction transesterification were carried out under identical experimental conditions for both biomass. extracted seeds through a soxhlet method using solvent, n-hexane. The then trans-esterified at 60 °C methanol/oil ratio 12:1 stirring rate 350 rpm, 3 wt. % catalyst loading 120 min reaction time. Zinc Oxide modified fly ash used heterogeneous process. GC analysis results biodiesels indicated that highest yield obtained seed oil. showed greater proportion docosanedioic acid while composed oleic larger proportions. Both are unsaturated methyl esters. suggests more suitable feedstock compared to .

Different vegetable oil based biodiesel (FAMES) were prepared by alkaline transesterification using refined oils as well as waste frying oil (WFO). Methanol and sodium hydroxide are used as catalyst under similar reaction conditions. To ensure the quality of biodiesel produced, a series of different ASTM Standard tests were carried out. In this context, various testwere done including viscosity...

متن کاملProduction of biodiesel fuel by transesterification of different vegetable oils with methanol using Al₂O₃ modified MgZnO catalyst.
An active heterogeneous Al2O3 modified MgZnO (MgZnAlO) catalyst was prepared and the catalytic activity was investigated for the transesterification of different vegetable oils (refined palm oil, waste cooking palm oil, palm kernel oil and coconut oil) with methanol to produce biodiesel. The catalyst was characterized by using X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectra, thermo gravim...
